 To mourn and cry for Imam Hussain (a.s.) carries a great sawab -
Imam Jaffer Sadiq (a.s.) said :
When Imam Hussain (a.s) was martyred, none of the kisa companions (Ahlulbayt)were there to mourn. So his death was the death of all (Ahlul kisa). Similarily his existence was like the existence of all. For this reason, his day (Ashura) became the day of "GREAT CALAMITY" ]
Imam Radha (a.s) has said :
The one who cries and mourns for Imam Hussain (a.s) will not weep on the day when everyone will be weeping (day of judgement)
